Engineer, occupational psychologist, ergonomist and occupational hygienist, Christian Voirol is Swiss and Canadian. Since 2001 he shares his time between Switzerland and Quebec. He is active in adult education and organizational interventions for more than 25 years. His research focuses on the influence of psychosocial factors on the health of workers and organizations. He specialized in the early detection of risk situations and the development of intervention strategies to prevent them. Associate researcher in the Research Team on Work and Mental Health (ERTSM in French), Christian is currently associate professor in the Department of Psychology and in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine, University of Montreal (Canada). Since 2013, he is also full professor in the Haute Ecole Arc Santé, HES-SO // University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland in Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
