The Portugal Impact Group, of which Stone Soup Consulting is a member, joined the effort of Inspiring Impact, in the United Kingdom, and made The Code of Good Impact practice available to the Portuguese speaking world.
The Code of Good Impact Practice was developed through a sector-wide public consultation and the input of a working group of 17 organisations. It was produced by NCVO as part of Inspiring Impact.
The Code of Good Impact Practice provides broad, agreed guidelines for focusing on impact. It sets out a cycle of impact practice and a series of high level principles to follow. The cycle and principles that make up this document are valid for all kind of non-profit organisations. They’re also intended to help funders and commissioners have a realistic and appropriate understanding of good impact practice for non-profit organisations.
The Code’s translation to Portuguese was made possible thanks to the Portugal Impact Group, which brings together key stakeholders from across the NGO sector, public sector, private sector and academia to support the development of the social impact agenda in Portugal.
