We all want to make a positive impact, but how do we know if we're actually achieving that goal?

One way of doing this is using the Social Value and SROI framework. Social Value and Social Return on Investment (SROI) is an internationally recognised framework for understanding, measuring and valuing social, economic and environmental outcomes. It is a stakeholder-driven evaluation, blended with cost-benefit analysis. It not only tells the story of how change is being created, it places a monetary value on that change and compares it against the costs to achieve it.

SIMNA is running a two-day accredited course on Social Value and SROI, delivered by our partner SVA Consulting.

About your trainer

Simon Faivel is leading this course. Simon's philosophy degree mixed with corporate strategy consulting and running small businesses led him to Social Ventures Australia (SVA) in 2007. Simon is a Director in the SVA Consulting team where he focusses on strategy, outcomes management and evaluation, and leads SVA's work on Social Value and Social Return on Investment (SROI). He is an accredited Social Value and SROI trainer and practitioner, Board Member of Social Value International (SVI), a non-Executive Board member of Flying Fox and the Founding Chair, and currently Co-Chair, of SIMNA.

Refund policy

Cancellations received in writing two weeks prior to start of training will be accepted and fees refunded. Cancellations received one week prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than one week prior will not be refunded. If you wish to change the attendee for the booking, please email the organiser at least 24 hours prior to the start of training. All changes and cancellations must be notified in writing to admin@simna.com.au

You may be photographed (or filmed) at SIMNA events and training and your image may be used in emails, social media and on the SIMNA website. If you do not wish to have your image used, please contact us ahead of time at admin@simna.com.au
