Social Value Thought Leadership Groups

By bringing together our members and practitioners, our thought leadership groups examine key issues, make valuable connections, share best practices and suggest improved approaches to build and enhance the adoption of the Social Value Principles and Impact Measurement and Management across a theme or sector. Through regular meetings they examine key issues, make valuable connections, share best practices and suggest practical approaches to develop and improve their specialist disciplines. They are the “go to group” of experts and an invaluable resource.

Each of our groups provide a focus on areas of critical importance to the social value movement. They are comprised of a number of individuals who have volunteered to share specialist knowledge and skills freely.

Social Value in Development and Humanitarian Assistance

Social Value in Development and Humanitarian Assistance (SVDHA) is a group focused on the practice of social value in the fields of international development and humanitarian assistance. We have three main aims:

  1. Raise awareness of the application and benefits of social value in these sectors, among INGOs, governments, membership bodies, social value practitioners, impact investors, philanthropic funds, and society in general.

  2. Build the skills and capabilities of people applying social value to international development and humanitarian assistance projects, by holding events, highlighting best practice, facilitating discussion and debate, and building capacity.

  3. Grow the membership of Social Value International and the social value community.

The group is led by Envoy Partnership, a social value consultancy, and supported by Social Value International.

Whether you work in the international development or humanitarian assistance sectors, or you are just interested, we would love to have you in the group.
